DEPARTMENT OF DIETETICS

       

The Department of Dietetics is a dynamic, team-based clinical support department focusing on providing clients with nutritional care. The department consists of dietitians and dietetic lecturers in various fields of expertise and research. The Department of Dietetics at HPUPM is unique compared to other teaching hospitals because it applies the 'blue ocean' concept where the department adopts the collaborative work between the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK) and HPUPM to optimize daily operations in hospital as well as the need for clinical teaching. It also enables the dietitians to develop expertise in specialized fields under the supervision of dietetic lecturers by inculcating the research culture.
