On 31 May 2025, the Nursing Management Department of Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS) organized the YOUNG HEALTH EXPLORERS PROGRAM: A JOURNEY INTO HEALTHCARE CAREERS. The "Young Health Explorers" program aims to provide an exciting and interactive experience for children and youth to explore the world of careers. This program offers opportunities for participants to try out various professions within the healthcare sector. Through a fun, educational approach, the program aspires to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in health.
"Young Health Explorers" is specially designed for children and youth (aged 8–17 years) to experience what it’s like to be a healthcare professional. Participants will have the chance to undergo training and carry out tasks typically performed by doctors, nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, counselors, and many others. The activities take place in an engaging and realistic setting that mimics an actual hospital environment, where they will learn about patient care, medical procedures, and teamwork. The program received an overwhelming response with 124 participants registering from the Klang Valley and nearby areas. Thank you to everyone for your cooperation and commitment in ensuring the smooth running of this program.
