HSAAS Serdang – On 23 September 2025, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Hospital (HSAAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), underwent the Surveillance Audit Review 1 of the Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2015 by SIRIM for the year 2025. The audit aimed to assess the implementation and effectiveness of UPM’s certification system, while ensuring its compliance with the scope of the quality management system certification at UPM

The SIRIM auditor, Ms. Maznah Mat Isa, commenced the audit session by attending the opening briefing delivered by HSAAS Deputy Management Representative, Mr. Mohd Aris Fadzillah Abdullah. The morning session covered the Family Medicine Clinic, the Department of Pharmacy, and the Revenue Section of the Finance Department. In the afternoon, the audit continued at Medical Ward 1 (MW1), the Emergency Department (ResQ), and concluded at the Medical Records and Data Analysis Section before the closing session.

The audit emphasized observation and staff interviews, marking the second experience for HSAAS as one of the Responsibility Centres (PTJ) selected in the 2025 audit sample.
