HSAAS, 12 February 2025 – Quality and Risk Management Unit, in collaboration with Human Resource Development Unit, had organized a Records Management Course from 12 to 14 February 2025 at Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Hospital (HSAAS), Banquet Hall. This three-day course was attended by 65 participants, comprising representatives from the administrative office, various clinical departments, and the secretariat team. The course aimed to provide exposure and understanding of proper records management, covering the entire process from creation to disposal. The invited speakers for this course were three officers from the National Archives of Malaysia, who shared their expertise in records management.
Participants attended nine sessions, covering a range of topics related to records, files, and correspondence. Among the topics discussed were Introduction to Records Management, File Classification and Creation, as well as File Capture and Closure. Additionally, the course featured engaging interactive sessions between the speakers and participants to enhance learning effectiveness. At the end of the course, most participants expressed their gratitude for the initiative and hoped that similar courses could be conducted regularly in the future to further strengthen their understanding of records management
