TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) PSYCHOLOGICAL FIRST AID (PFA) 2026 PROGRAM HELD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE HSAAS, UPM OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH DAY 2026 The Public Health Section, Department of Community Health, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia successfully organised the Training of Trainers (TOT) Psychological First Aid (PFA) 2026 Programme in conjunction with the HSAAS, UPM Occupational Safety and Health Day 2026 on 23 and 24 June 2026. The programme was attended by clinical and medical staff, members of the Disaster Management Committee, and staff of the Public Health Section, Department of Community Health, HSAAS. The two-day programme aimed to enhance participants' knowledge and skills in Psychological First Aid (PFA), equipping them to provide early psychological support to individuals experiencing stress, crisis, or other challenging situations. The programme featured a variety of learning activities, including lectures, interactive discussions, and simulation exercises, providing participants with practical exposure to the principles and application of PFA in delivering effective early psychological support. The knowledge and skills gained are expected to enable participants to identify individuals who require psychological assistance and provide appropriate initial support before referring them to the relevant healthcare professionals or services. The organising committee extends its sincere appreciation to all committee members, participants, speakers, and facilitators for their commitment, dedication, and cooperation throughout the programme. It is hoped that this programme will benefit all participants while contributing to the development of a caring workplace culture, promoting mental well-being, and strengthening a healthy and safe working environment. |
