International FIMA Lifesavers 2023 |

September 30, 2023, the 'International FIMA Lifesavers Day' program was successfully held at Masjid Putra, Putrajaya. This program was jointly organized by the International Federation of Islamic Medical Associations (FIMA) and the Islamic Medical Association of Malaysia. |
The event ran smoothly throughout the day, starting from 8:30 in the morning and concluding at 1:30 in the afternoon. The program received simultaneous support and attention from 17 participating countries, including Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Pakistan, Jordan, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Bulgaria, Malawi, Nigeria, Niger, the United Kingdom, Ghana, and Canada. |
In this program, participants from various walks of life were provided with practical training free of charge by experienced instructors in the field of public health. Among the skills taught were CPR for adults and infants, the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), first aid for choking victims, and knowledge of emergency treatment. |
In Malaysia, this program was simultaneously conducted in four selected mosques, each managed by a different committee based on the mosque's location. Here is a list of these locations:

This program is expected to raise awareness about Emergency Assistance, regardless of age. The organization of this program also brings together universities, hospitals, and clinics, uniting efforts to enhance community awareness. |
