GAS PIPE FIRE IN PUTRA HEIGHT: HSAAS ON SITE

Subang Jaya, April 2, 2025 – Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), UPM, conducted a visit to the Temporary Evacuation Center (PPS) at Masjid Putra Height, Subang Jaya, led by YBrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Fadhlina Zakaria, Managing Director of HSAAS. The visit aimed to assess healthcare service needs and ensure that the paramedic team from HSAAS, UPM, was optimally prepared to provide emergency medical assistance to affected victims if required.

The team on standby to provide medical and psychological aid consists of the Stroke Emergency Unit (RESQ), led by Dr. Norhayati Mohamad Amin, an emergency medicine specialist, and Ms. Rafidah Sadarudin, Head of the Counseling and Medical Social Work Unit.

During the visit, a delegation from the Ministry of Women, Family, and Community Development (KPWKM), led by YB. Datuk Seri Dr. Noraini Ahmad, Deputy Minister of KPWKM, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), headed by YBhg. Datuk Dr. Anesee Ibrahim, Secretary-General of KPT, and YBhg. Datuk Prof. Dr. Azlinda Azman, Director-General of KPT, also extended their support to the affected victims.

This initiative reflects KPT's commitment through University Teaching Hospitals (HPU) to providing efficient and responsive healthcare services, particularly in emergency situations requiring immediate action. The HSAAS, UPM paramedic team remains ready to deliver the best services for the well-being of the affected community.
