The Department of Dietetics, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS)-HSAAS, in collaboration with the Clinical Research Unit (Putra-iCRU), organised DIETSHOW 2026: Dietetics Research Showcase on 1 July 2026. The programme formed part of the Bachelor Dissertation (DTK4959) course assessment for the 2025/2026 academic session, involving third-year Bachelor of Dietetics (Honours) students. The programme aimed to provide a platform for students to share the final outcomes of their research in dietetics with academics, students, and visitors. It also highlighted current developments in the field, particularly in digitalisation and innovation, to support the advancement of patient care. Through the programme, students strengthened their research competencies, applied contemporary research methodologies, and enhanced their confidence in presenting their findings to the academic community. DIETSHOW 2026 served not only as a platform to showcase students' research achievements but also to foster a culture of research, critical thinking, and evidence-based learning among future dietitians. It is hoped that initiatives such as this will continue to drive academic excellence, research innovation, and the development of competent graduates who are well prepared to contribute to the advancement of the dietetics profession and the improvement of healthcare quality.
