In conjunction with the Aidilfitri 1446H celebration, the Hospital Mesra Ibadah Committee, HSAAS, in collaboration with the Muslim Hospital Volunteer Organization (PSHM), organized the Aidilfitri Contribution Handover Program for patients in Medical Ward 1, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS) on 6 May 2025.

A total of 30 gift packs were prepared and distributed to Muslim patients currently receiving treatment in the ward. Each pack contained personal hygiene items, festive snacks, and a special worship guidebook for patients, as a gesture of care and support following the Aidilfitri celebration.

Although Aidilfitri has passed, this program was held as an effort to foster a spirit of brotherhood and provide spiritual encouragement to patients, so they do not feel isolated during their recovery period. It also aims to ensure that they continue to feel the care, love, and concern of the hospital community, even while being away from their families and the festive atmosphere of their hometowns.

The contribution handover ceremony was officiated by Dr. Azlan Sulaiman, Deputy Chief Operating Officer (Clinical – Surgery) and Chairman of the Hospital Mesra Ibadah Committee, HSAAS. He was accompanied by the Head of the Hospital Supervision Section, Mr. Ahmad Azwal bin Rusid, and a representative from the HSAAS Islamic Affairs Unit, Mr. Fakhrur Radzi Muslim.
