Bismillahirrahmanirrahim   Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh and Greetings.   Alhamdulillah, Thank You Allah S.W.T. for His mercy and grace. The opening ceremony of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah UPM Hospital was successfullly held with the approval of His Majesty Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, Tuanku Chancellor, and Sultan of Selangor on February 28, 2023. For everyone's information, UPM Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Hospital or previously known as UPM Teaching Hospital started construction in 2014 with a current contract value of RM 600 million. The construction of this hospital also takes into account the Green Building rating, Quality Assessment System For Building Construction, and the use of Industrialized Building System (I.B.S.) components by 80%, which has exceeded the national standards set by 70%. With the existence of this Hospital, the contribution and impact of the university's medical expertise can be extended to UPM citizens and the community. The management of Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah UPM Hospital will continue to plan strategies and synergies to make it a hospital that is respected and in line with the best university hospitals in the world, become a consulting expert in the field of expertise, and provide well-being to the community. This is in line with the university's desire to make a meaningful contribution in producing health care experts, the exploration of knowledge and scientific expertise, as well as the improvement and quality of health for the well-being of society and the development of the country. I would like to express my utmost appreciation to all parties involved, especially the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) who always support and commit to making UPM a center that produces the best medical experts for the advancement of humanity through the exploration and dissemination of knowledge.
