	Continuous Medical Education (CME) talk no. 8/2025
	On 12/12/25, the Nuclear Imaging Section, HSAAS held a CME entitled Preparation and Dispensing of Radioactive Iodine Therapy. This CME was given by Mr. Iqbal Danial bin Sa'id.


	Study Tour from Management and Science University (MSU) Shah Alam
	On 24/11/25, the Nuclear Imaging Section, HSAAS received a visit from Bachelor in Cardiovascular Technology MSU students. The purpose of this visit was to provide exposure to the students on the Cardiac Myocardial Perfusion Imaging (MPI) procedure.


	Expert Mission Visit from International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Malaysian Nuclear Agency (ANM) for Educational and Training Appraisal (EDUTA) to HSAAS
	On 16/10/25, the Nuclear Imaging Section, HSAAS received a visit from the IAEA and ANM.


	Yasin recitation and thanksgiving ceremony
	On 12/9/25, the Nuclear Imaging Section held a Yasin and Thanksgiving Recitation Ceremony. The ceremony was led by Mr. Mohamad Akmal bin Mohamed Yusof and Mr. Muhammad Aidil Ariff bin Mohamad Hurairah.


	Continuing Medical Education (CME) Webinar
	On 13/8/25, the Medical Physics Unit, HSAAS held the CME Medical Physics Continuing Medical Education Series III by inviting Dr Nor Azra binti Md Din (Head of the Nuclear Imaging Section, HSAAS) as a speaker in this program to share knowledge on the topic "Common Artifacts in Nuclear Medicine Imaging.


	Briefing on medical social services and application procedures at HSAAS
	On 8/8/25, the Nuclear Imaging Section held a briefing related to Medical Social Services and Procedures for Applying for Medicines/Equipments/Medical Services/Treatment at HSAAS. This briefing aims to share knowledge and provide exposure to staff regarding the services available and the medical claims procedures provided by the Medical Social Work Section.


	Visit from medical students of University Tunku Abdul Rahman(UTAR)
	On 1/7/2025, the HSAAS Nuclear Imaging Section received a visit from UTAR medical students. Dr Azra held a class to provide them with exposure to nuclear imaging.

	National Cancer Congress Malaysia
	On 20-22 June 2025, Dr Azra and other nuclear staff (Dr Mohsin, Dr Aliff, Mr Khalil, Mr Aidil) attended this program which was held at Sunway University, Kuala Lumpur. In this program, they attended one of the sessions which took place on 21 June 2025, which was the Cancer Management with Nuclear Medicine Symposium.

2024

Nuclear Fun Day 14 December 2024

On this date, history was made for the Nuclear Imaging Department, HSAAS because it successfully held the department's first family day at the International Institute of Aquaculture and Aquatic Science (I-AQUAS) UPM, Port Dickson Negeri Sembilan.

This program, which is based on the concept of Rehlah Muhibbah, was held with the aim of creating an attitude of cooperation and establishing close relationships between nuclear staff.

2023

National Conference of Nuclear Medicine 2023

On 1st - 3rd September 2023, Assoc. Prof Dr. Subapriya had attend National Conference of Nuclear Medicine organized by Sabah Nuclear Medicine.

She also contested in poster presentation competiton and managed to get 7th place out of 25 contestant.

OHBM 2023 in Montreal Canada

In July 2023, Dr Priya and her PhD student Nur Shahidatul Nabila binti Ibrahim had attend Organization Human Brain Mapping 2023 in Montreal, Canada.

They also presented their research related to imaging of Alzheimer’s disease during OHBM 2023 . Their research paper is titled : CNN-derived Hippocampal volume and resting state functional connectivity in Alzheimer’s disease.

Dr Subapriya gave a talk on open science during the OHBM 2023 symposia titled "Open science - sustainability through success stories".

She was also the moderator for Panel discussion during Open science room titled Telehealth as a tool for open data research and sharing.

AProf Dr Subapriya is the Chair for Open Science Room under the OS SIG for the OHBM 2023.

Visit to McGill Montreal Neurological Institute

	MyNM 2023
	In May 2023, members of Nuclear Imaging Unit Assoc. Prof Dr Subapriya, Dr Ahmad Danial, Dr Khairul Aliff and Mrs Rabiatul Adawiyah had attend Malaysian Nuclear Medicine Annual Conference 2023 (MyNM 2023) at DoubleTree Hilton, Putrajaya.
