Established in 2019, HSAAS, formerly known as the University of Malaysia Teaching Hospital (HPUPM) was officiated by His Excellency Sultan Sharafudin Idris Shah AlHaj Ibni Almarhum Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah AlHaj on February 28, 2023 and is now known as Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Hospital (HSAAS). HSAAS covers 38.4 hectares with a capacity of 400 beds, 17 wards and a variety of public amenities such as 2000 parking lots, several waiting rooms, religious spaces, mulitrecreation areas, grocery stores, cafeteria and playground for patient convenience.

HSAAS serves as a teaching hospital for the UPM Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and remains committed and dedicated to train various health professionals, while continuing researches in advanced diagnostic medical services and a variety of advanced treatments. HSAAS provides outpatient services consisting of a variety of specialties and sub-specialties, daily care services including endoscopic services, IVF Centres, Nuclear Imaging and Facilities as well as pathology and microbiology laboratory services.

 

In addition, HSAAS also serves as the Center for Clinical Excellence offering advanced treatment, research and education services of 4 major niche areas;

Putra Neurovascular and Stroke Clinical Centre (PUTRA CNS)
Putra Advanced Geriatrics Integrated Care and Learning Centre (AGILe)
Prostate Care Centre
Putra Zoonotic

HSAAS provides a variety of platform for research and development in various fields of professional healthcare and is constantly striving to be at the forefront of medicine by cultivating a culture of cooperation regardless of boundaries.
