SCOPE OF RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT SERVICES
| 1. | General Services |
| All examinations, radiological procedures, and radiology daycare must be performed by personnel who have been given specific training and commissioned to undergo special radiological examinations and procedures. | |
| 2. | The Department of Radiology provides diagnostic imaging services, special procedures, and interventional clinics for: |
| • RESQ (emergency patients, referrals from government hospitals/clinics, referrals from private institutions) • Outpatient • Inpatient • Patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) • Operation theatre • Daycare unit |

| 3. | Services provided in the main department: |
| • General imaging • Computed Tomography (CT) • Diagnostic Angiography • Interventional Radiology • Neurointervention • Ultrasonography • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) • Mammography • Bone Densitometry • Appointment-basis service |

| 4. | Peripheral/Satellite Radiology Services: |
| • Imaging using the Image Observer (II) at the HSAAS Operating Room Complex • Fluoroscopy imaging services at the Surgical Department, HSAAS • Mobile x-ray services are provided for terminally ill patients who cannot be sent to the Radiology Department for the following examinations: a. Mobile General Imaging (Mobile X-Ray) b. Ultrasound c. Satellite General Imaging Services at the Family Medicine Clinic, HSAAS • MRI-Guided Contouring for Prostate Biopsy Service |

| 5. | The services provided for the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM, and clinical departments at HSAAS are as follows: |
| • Consultation • Clinical advisory services • Radiology Conference • Teaching graduate and undergraduate medical students • Conduct research in collaboration with other academic departments as well as research institutions inside and outside UPM |

| 6. | Become a training and research centre at local colleges and universities for the following programmes: |

| OPERATION HOURS | |

| • On the day of the radiology procedure, a scheduled appointment system is implemented according to the appointment time given. However, priority will be given to urgent patients, terminally ill patients, people with disabilities (OKU), and the elderly. • On-call service is available 24 hours a day (Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays) for urgent and emergency procedures. |
