UPM Teddy Bear Hospital is back!

Calling all parents with little ones aged 5 to 9 years old! 🎉
Join us for a fun and educational experience where children get to play the role of “little doctors” treating their teddy bear patients! 🧑‍⚕🧸

📅 Date: Saturday, 21st June 2025
🕗 Time: 8.00 am – 12.00 pm
📍 Venue: Family Medicine Clinic (FMC), Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), UPM
💰 Fee: RM30 per child

🌟 What’s Teddy Bear Hospital all about?

The Teddy Bear Hospital is a globally recognised medical initiative designed to help children overcome fear and anxiety related to hospitals and healthcare settings. Through imaginative role-play, kids learn about:

🔹 Hospital procedures
🔹 Patient-doctor communication
🔹 Hygiene and healthy habits
🔹 Importance of vaccinations and first aid

At this event, children act as “parents” to their teddy bears and bring them for check-ups with our friendly “teddy doctors”—medical student volunteers specially trained to make learning fun and comforting.

✨ Activities include:
• Consultation & check-up role-play
• X-ray station
• Blood taking & vaccination simulation
• Healthy diet education
• Handwashing demonstrations

While kids enjoy the fun learning, parents will also benefit from an informative session on first aid for choking and the importance of immunisation.

🎯 This is a great opportunity to introduce children to healthcare in a positive, supportive environment—building trust, curiosity, and confidence.
