The UPM-KPT Outreach Program through Jelajah Aspirasi Keluarga Malaysia (JAKM) 2022 series 10 has welcomed the community of Taman Serting Indah, Jempol Negeri Sembilan on 07 - 09 October 2022. The program was attended by KSU representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT), YBrs. Dr. Wan Baharuddin bin Wan Mahmood, Secretary of the Policy & Research Division, and the Honorable Prof. Dato' Dr. Mohd Roslan Bin Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UPM, as well as the top management of UPM have involved twelve (12) UPM responsibility centers (PTJ) who also together offer various interesting activities aimed at providing awareness and knowledge transfer to the local community. Through this program, several facilities have been opened for the Taman Serting Indah community such as the health facilities provided by the UPM Teaching Hospital (HPUPM), by providing services such as free health screenings, UPM Veterinary Hospital facilities that carry out health screenings for pets (Cats) as well as UCTC UPM which opens a special booth for special plant care and talks by knowledge sharing from each PTJ representative through knowledge sharing. The essence of completing this program give exposure to local residents in applying knowledge and health care that is important to always be aware of. Other activities organized are a special coloring competition for children aged from 4 to 12 years old, traditional games such as coconut peeling, coconut bowling and ketupat weaving are seen to leave a positive impact on the local community as one Malaysian family despite different backgrounds. The program ended with lucky draw, presentation of prizes and a photo session as a memoir of JAKM 2022 at the Negeri Sembilan level.
