Services provided: Clients of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) consist of: i) Patients In Cases in wards admitted through OGAC, O&G Specialist Clinic and EPAU. ii) Outpatients Cases referred to Outpatient Clinics, District Hospitals, Health Clinics and Private Clinics as well as ward cases that come for follow-up treatment.   The scope of services in the O&G Department can be divided into: 1) Screening Activities. Examples: Cervical cytology screening, infective screening for reproductive procedures and Women's health screening. 2) Diagnostic Activity. Includes clinical examination assisted by laboratory examination (example: blood, urine and other body fluids), imaging (example: ultrasound) and related specific procedures (example: colposcopy, urodynamic examination, diagnostic laparoscopic etc.) 3) Treatment Activities. Includes Obstetrics and Gynaecology care as follows: Antenatal care Feto-maternal care Intrapartum treatment Emergency and elective caesarean section Postnatal care and early immunization Menopause treatment ‘Bereavement counselling` EPAU Care (Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit) Gynecology laparoscopic and robotic surgical treatment General Gynaecology care Fertility and reproductive care Gynaecology oncology treatment Uro- Gynaecology care Breastfeeding support 4) Prevention Activities Pre -pregnancy clinic Family planning clinic Giving hematinic pills and folic acid to pregnant mothers. 5) Maternity Ward Operates 24 hours a day. There are 10 rooms equipped with the latest amenities. Surgery is performed as inpatient elective surgery and day care elective surgery. Obstetrics and Gynaecology emergency surgery is performed at any time and priority is given according to the severity of the case. 6) Reproductive Care Unit Started operations from December 2019 at the Gynaecology Clinic and October 2021 at Putra Fertility Center. Services provided in this unit for the beginning of the operation are Intra-uterine insemination (IUI) and `seminal fluid analysis` test
